Untreated (unscoured) wool. Wool is naturally water-repellant, making it ideal as a clothing material for sweaters, gillets, hats & scarfs.
Crafting something with your own hands is not just about the end product, but also the journey—the thought, effort, and creativity thats gone into it. Whether it’s your first attempt or a latest in a long line of projects, you will achieve something special. Your skein is more than just a hank of yarn, it’s a reflection of skills thats brought to life.
Having knowledge of the materials and processes involved in your yarn can foster a deeper awareness of environmental impact. Using yarn that is more sustainable can evoke pride in contributing to environmental conservation and reduce the guilt associated with fossil fuels & plastics.
Furthermore, knowing the provenance of the fleece used to create the yarn builds a story that can not be replicated through plastics. Protecting our beautiful heritage UK breeds brings anyone that comes into contact with it, so much joy, for many years to come.

All of our wool is sourced directly from UK farms. We hand process or send small batches for spinning in local mini-mills, always with the aim of keeping our woolmiles low. Items are then made by hand. Wool traceability means a lot to us, as we believe it does to our discerning customers also.
