Castlemilk Moorit Sheep are a primitive rare breed of sheep. Help us in our efforts to promote the use of the moorit fleece.
It really is a wonderful & beautiful wool.
With a staple length of approx 1-3inches, tight wool, makes the fleece suitable for hand spinners.
This wool does take dye well but has a beautiful natural multi tone of chocolate browns.
Can be used in knitting & crochet projects to make outer garments. Along with being used in various textile & art projects.
Test with a micro skein or breed pack if you’re unsure on the woods texture.
